The irony of Ed Balls

How does he keep a straight face, seriously?  He’s all over the airwaves repeating the line from his conference speech that the Government need a proper economic narrative and then refusing to offer one up himself.

Another of his favourite tricks is to claim that the economic woes which the Labour Government left us in was nothing to do with him and Gordon Brown and everything to do with international economic factors.  In the next breath he claims that the country’s current economic problems are nothing to do with international economic factors and everything to do with George Osborne.  A more rational person would understand that holding such contradictory views makes him look more like someone from Orwell’s Ministry of Truth than a credible alternative Chancellor.

I really shouldn’t worry about this because Ed Ball’s media appearances provide the British voters with regular reminders of Labour’s complete unsuitability for government.  Keep up the good work fella.
