Vote Green get Livingstone

I wonder how Green voters will respond to the call by Sian Berry to vote for Livingstone as their second choice? I’m also surprised that the Greens would be so naive as to trust any promises made at this stage by Livingstone. He will say anything to cling on to power, not only to the electorate but also to the Green Party.

Also, by doing this Sian is basically saying “I’m not going to be in the final two”, I think she is probably right but it is hardly the most positive start to a campaign. That the best way for the Green Party to improve green politics in London is to work alongside whoever becomes Mayor.

  1. OFF TOPIC: It’s with regret I see on CHome your comment that you aren’t going to try for Old Bexley and Sidcup. There are many people who think you’d make a first rate MP.

  3. Can’t Boris do something about the silly laws that prevent leaders of the Conservative party cycling the wrong way down streets and jumping traffic lights? Scraping the bendy buses would be a good start as they can be really annoying to cyclists who wish to undertake these buses on corners, especially when as it may distract them from their telephone conversations.Surely if red lights, zebra crossings, pavements, no entry and keep left signs don’t apply to most cyclists this should be doubly so for leaders of the Conservative party, candidates for mayor or prospective assembly members.
