BNP backs Hodge in housing row

I think this headline says it all.

Labour has created an immigration and asylum system which is both unfair and ineffective. Penalising those in need of housing is not the answer, I am sure that Margret Hodge knows this but she is clearly trying to win back votes the she has lost to the BNP.

I don’t imagine she will still be in post after the re-shuffle.

  1. I liked Andrew Boff’s comment on Conservative Home — something like ‘some racists are just unenlightened; some are morally repugnant — in which category is Margaret Hodge?’. Athough, <>pace<> the genius of the Boff, I do wonder if it’s not possible in Hodge’s case to be both unenlightened and morally repugnant at the same time. From her Islington days on, she’s been a mixture of the unpleasant with the inefficient.
