  1. As ex-military myself, James, I find this disheartening and sobering. I had a friend on active duty in Northern Ireland and I was there myself in 91, when the peace train was nobbled. I was in Newry two hours after a border post was bombed.I can say the young lads were more than brave but they were extremely nervous, with fingers near the trigger the whole time. Trouble was, the enemy didn’t operate that way.I shall never forgive Adams and his murderous Fenians.
